or does Chris ("the hacker") have a very limited knowledge base. the stuff he talks about my 8 year old would know, sometimes he pops in with a quick tech word or slightly complex process, but most of the time he just goes on and on about stuff that teens would be able to wiki and the main host usually has to fill in the rest of the information. No offense, but is it just me or does some else get that vibe?

My 8 year old doesn't understand any of the segments Chris talks about, but Chris has a good way of explaining hard to grasp concepts in a short period of time for a segment.
Oh wait, I don't have an 8 year old. :P

... and trolls.
You know you are doing something right when you have people randomly creating accounts to criticise you for explaining things such that an 8 yo old can understand it.

It takes a special kinda person to complain about something being too easy. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I'm sorry Chris. We had a good thing going here, but I just feel like you don't challenge me enough. Sometimes it feels like you're treating me like an eight year-old. And you never take me places, like you used to.
Sorry. We're done here.

It is just this guy. I'm still enjoying this.

i never complained it was too easy, i said the information he gives lacks any substance. no one here can honestly say they followed any of his advice and achieved anything from it. TheBroken was a great show that showed ppl how to do hacks and tricks, and it didnt even have to go extremely in depth. Chris' segment just splurts a bunch of info someone gets from browsing a hacker forum on a late night and really doesnt explain much of anything.
its just an opinion :)

I haven't been putting the time I probably should into my segments, but at the same time, this is not meant to be a replacement for real training on anything. If you are interested in learning advanced packet analysis, I suggest buying a book dedicated to it, or finding a way to attend a SANS training event.
I do want to have more segments where I am actually diving into something and producing an end-product that will allow someone with a foundation of knowledge on the subject reproduce what I did, and learn something from it though.
