Yeah, pricing gets more and more ridiculous of costumes. But hey....I'm not Martha Stewart. I'm not even one of those Duct Tape guys. I SUCK at arts and crafts, so there's no way in hell I'd be able to make my own costume.
You should see my boyfriend's costume though.....he hasn't updated it in a while but he has a blog about the process

HAHAHAHA...alright...i get it now. I was really confused, I saw Jon posting that and thought it was HIS costume idea, when he was responding to yours probably b/c of the color scheme i'm still getting used to. since it was someone i didn't know named "jon" looking into it, i asked if it was a guy or a chick hahahaha. i can't believe i asked you that, oh man. sorry, i know that you are definetely a woman, and quite a woman at that...oh man, i'm such an ass.

nice. I was at a party last year where someone was optimus... there's not many things better than seeing cardboard optimus try to weave his way through a crowd while holding a beer.

Me and my buddies always go with a theme and dress up to it. We're goin with walkin dead so I got a skeleton arm and i'll tuck my arm in an have the bone arm hangin out a ripped up sleeve. And do some makeup to my face blood and dead lookin stuff. Gotta love Halloween.

Well he's an engineer, so this comes naturally to him. He's having a boatload of fun. Last year he was optimus transformed and he won the contest, I can't imagine how much he'll blow them away now that he's transformable.

And we aren't matching because of the whole long distance thing. Next year though, he's finally gonna do what he always wanted and I will be matching him. He's gonna be Wolverine, and he's gonna make working retractable claws using this water pump system he showed me. His best friend will be Cyclops using a laser pointer system in the visor and I'm gonna be Phoenix. I don't get anything cool, just some colored contacts. Woe is me.

The Doctor is in!
I started the original thread saying I was going to be the 10th Doctor.
I got my blue-pinstriped brown suit, a brown-blue tie, and blue Converse shoes. I ordered a toy sonic screwdriver from England off eBay and some 3-D glasses. I have grown out my sideburns and I just need to dye my hair a dark reddish-brown.
Outside of my girlfriend I wonder if anyone will GET my costume. Most of the 2nd season of Dr. Who hasn't even aired in the U.S. yet.

If your image is already online, surround the url of the image with and tags. Something like:

If the image is just on your computer, upload it to some website first. You can use a free image uploading service like www.imageshack.us. It'll give you the forum code you need to post your image here.
