I heard about http://girlinyourshirt.com/ on Buzz Out Loud, so went to check it out.
The promo video on the front page has a song that sounds exactly like the TRS theme....
WTF.

hmm, I'm not familiar w/ garage band.
But if indeed that guitar riff is from there and public domain, then mystery solved.

hmm, I'm not familiar w/ garage band.Comes as part of iLife no every Mac sold. Its a freebie with freebie riff which is why it is used so often.

Yup, I actually really liked using this riff when I first started messing around with Garage Band. Hmm... sounds like people are throwing down the challenge to create an origional guitar track in the background of the intro... interesting...

It'd be extra amazing if someone were to write an original piece of music to use for the theme song, one that would go with the existing vocal parts.
I'm a bit disappointed to to learn that that guitar riff is a canned riff that comes with a program...
Any inspired musician fans out there?

I vote for a new theme song without public domain music. There's got to be enough musicians on here to make one, no? just my 2 cents input.

Well if the TRS guys are up to it, sure. I play guitar. I could also record some stuff for the bass when I'm playing with my band.
Although time is kind of an issue at the moment...
