What happened to Diggnation on iTunes? The pod(net?)cast is stuck in 2005... I really don't want to have to watch Diggnation in a crappy little browser window or download, add to iTunes and such just to watch it on my TV. The podcast is just so much easier.

That happened to me before. Just re-add the podcast in iTunes, they sometimes change the feeds on you.

Messed up for me too.
Why don't they just add m4v direct links on Rev3... would be so much easier.

Had the same problem yesterday - If you load the podcast titled "Diggnation (videos)" then it doesnt work and only shows the old 2005 video's. Try loading the podcast titled "Diggnation w/Kevin Rose & Alex Albrecht" instead - it showed up with the newest video's for me. (Do a Power Search for podcasts with the word 'Diggnation' to find the podcasts.. what i did at least)

I can't seem to get the video podcast subscription to work in iTunes either. The one listed in noonebutme's comment is only audio...

I really wish they would do high quality video downloads on iTunes since thats how I manage all my subscriptions. Instead I am forced to come to the rev3 site to download it, which isnt that huge of a deal since I visit it anyway but It would just be easier to have it all in one spot.
they probably will eventually have it there. Just not now.

I've never had any of the kinds of problems you guys are having, but my Diggnation always comes out on iTunes a while after it comes out on Revision3.

I am having the same problem as the original poster. This started occuring with this episode, as the last episode downloaded without issue. Perhaps the video feed was messed up when Rev3 did their relaunch?

Actually I was wrong I am having the same problem as the original poster. I fixed it by deleting the current Diggnation subscription I am on and subscribing for the Diggnation entitled "Diggnation w/Kevin Rose & Alex Albrecht". Hopefully this fixes the problem for good.
**Edit** oh never mind, the one that i showed you was the audio only podcast

none of the digg or other rev video's on itunes will play on my ipod gen5. if i download the ipod ver off of rev it works but not the one on itunes. any one els have this prob?
We have .m4vs that have been tested on the gen5. As per the post in General Discussions, we're working with Apple on correcting the feeds pointing to the wrong files (namely, .mov's). We'll get it fixed shortly, but meanwhile, try downloading the .m4v's directly from Revision3 and test it that way.

Doesn't it seem shitty that there are files in iTunes that would not work with iPods? I am no blamming Rev3, but rather Apple. Does anyone know what the deal is here?
I wouldn't really know, but I assume both places iTunes and here sent different stuff or whatnot, and they just got messed up.

Diggnation videos only sees the 1st 16? what is up wiht this am i the only one that cant get this weeks diggnation? Are u going still going to be adding them to itunes or what! also the indigital small quicktime for ipod isnt downloading the new shows i got the 1st three but i dont see the other the news ones! anyone have a fix or are u having problems after this last week!

That would be a good idea, shouldn't be longer then 4 days, but you never know.

thebroken (Video, .m4v) [Note, ep3 is missing, we're fixing, the rest should work]
Geekdrome (Audio, .mp3) [Appears to be missing the latest episode, working on it.]
Web Drifter (Video, .m4v) [Note, videos are the wrong size, should be .m4v, working on it.]

Ok, most of this stuff works now. Sorry iTunes was confusing...Things should be smooth now. We'll add the RSS feeds back to the show pages soon.

I tried that and all i got was the non-video version. I just torrent the Xvid- its much easier.

I have a big problem.
I just recently discovered Diggnation, although I have been reading Digg for a while now... and I have a 5G iPod so I thought it would be great to watch it at school, etc.
The problem is that whenever I try to download any of Rev3's video podcasts Windows crashes and I get a BSOD. (The ones I have tried are Diggnation, Systm, and thebroken... the video versions) This doesn't happen with any other podcast, or with any other program besides iTunes. I've tried reinstalling iTunes - twice actually, rebooting, re-suscribing to the podcasts, etc. I don't know what else to do and I'm quite frustrated because all I want to do is watch some frikkin Diggnation!

Thanks for the fix! Everything is working great now.
