It's a gadget that once you use it, you will not want to drive without one.
On Newegg now, you can get a Magellan Roadmate 2000 for $74. Also, a Nextar P3 for $70. Both come with free shipping. I used a friend's Nextar once and it was alright -- not quite as polished as my TomTom but still definitely a cool unit.

A little pricier is the Refurbished TomTom One 3rd Edition for $79.99 with free shipping. A refurbished Garmin Nuvi 200 is $99 (no free shipping). And there are about 10 other GPS's in the 75-100 range by Nextar, Magellan, Mio, Navigon, Clarion, etc.. I bought my brother a Jensen for like $69 a few months back which is not as polished as my TomTom and Garmin units but still is a lot better than nothing. He loves it and uses it everyday.

I wonder if there's going to be any really good deals on them the day after Thanksgiving. I don't think Wal-Mart can beat the Egg for deals on low-end GPS's.
