Did anyone else catch it!? Truly hilarious! Everything was great! From a Christmas/Hanukkah duet with Jon Stewart, to a more than awkward make out session with a bear, this special had something for everyone! LOL.

Hadn't even heard about it until this post (and then saw the commercials while watching the Jeff Dunham special I recorded.)
Looks interesting...I'll have to see if it's going to be replayed.

I still don't understand how you can enjoy his show. Or how it has any audience with any conservatives.

You don't have to agree with something to enjoy it.

Truth. Although there are still some right wingers who don't get the "act". I remember googling a clip awhile ago and it showed up on a right wingers blog talking about how Colbert just destroyed his Liberal guest that night.
I laughed...then cried.

I laughed...then cried.NJShadow is one of those people. It was explained to him in the politics forum a few months ago that Colbert was not, indeed, a conservative himself.

Oh, I've always known it was an act, but Colbert really is a Sunday School teacher, so yeah, he's making fun but I know he actually believes what he's pretending to mock...

That is one of few similarities. When asked about his character Colbert has described him as a "well-intentioned, poorly-informed, high status idiot."

That...sounds like a lot of politicians (and most celebrities that shoot their mouth off)

Loved it...
The only bummer was Toby Keith... the Willie Nelson stuff was classic but Toby just came across as a douche.

I'm a huge Colbert fair and I enjoyed the Christmas special.
I wasn't blown away by it but all the guest stars were great.

I had this conversation with a friend. I wasn't sure whether I should laugh because he may actually be serious. But, my friend argued that even if he was serious they are basically exploiting/making fun of him which is even more hilarious.
