One Halloween when I was about 12 me and my friend were trick or treatin' and there was this woman walking the street and she just looked totally lost and really pale. She was asking for directions to get somewhere and her voice was just really floaty and quiet anyway we said we didn't know and carried on walking a bit and when we looked back she wasn't there.

Looking back at it she was probably someone on crack who had just been picked up by her pimp as we walked off.

I declare shenanigans!

When I was younger my brother and I used to hid in the bushes and scare kids who came to our house, usually they dropped their candy in fear. Quite the rewarding payoff.

Then a few years ago my friends and I had a band, garage as hell. We did played our drummers living room on halloween. The only thing redeeming about the show was that I named our band THE FLAMING SHILLELAGHS and made signs that said THE FLAMING SHILLELAGHS FLAMING IN A STRAIGHT WAY THIS HALLOWEEN.

In 7th grade I went around with friends and shot fire works at people. It was awesome until these guys atleast 4 years older than us started chasing after us. We ran like hell, going in between houses randomly until we got to the woods and hid there for a little bit, then we went home and watched Halloween!

I live in a sort of small town - small enough so there are apple orchards around anyway. Some friends and I went at night and got a whole bunch of apples and then drove around the rest of the night throwing apples at cars, houses... people...

The best one, though, was this house that had a really steep driveway down from the road (so the roof was below road level) and was still close to the road. Four of us got out of the car and all at once launched a volley of apples. like five seconds later it was like thum...thum...thum.th.th.th.tth.tht.ht.mp.
then we reloaded and right after we launced the second round, apples in mid air, this guy comes running out of the house and was like "HEY GET THE FU.." and then like 15 apples just pelted the ground all around him (not sure if any hit him) we were all laughing so hard we could hardly get in the car to leave.

All of my holiday shenanigans usually took place on the 5th of July when fireworks were discounted around 80% off.

I didn't do this but I wish I would of came up with it. A couple friends of mine got my friends boyfriend car pretty bad. Took pictures of gay porn off the net and then taped it on the car, srink wrapped it, then covered the whole thing in vaseline. I'm not too sure if he ever found out it was them but was pretty pissed off

I wasn't allowed out on Halloween when I was a kid. Being from England in the early 70s there wasn't much around in the way of Halloween cross-over and we didn't really know what it was about. My mom said it was no different than begging and so that was that. It was a real pain in the butt... of course they found out about Devil's night shortly after we got here so I never really experienced that either.

oh, and Shenanigans, Shenanigans, Shenanigans, Shenanigans, Shenanigans, Shenanigans, Shenanigans, Shenanigans, Shenanigans, Shenanigans.

My friends and I normaly end up stealing peoples pumpkins and then roll them down a steep hill, trying to hit a car parked at the bottom.

I grew up in NZ, were Halloween isn't really "celebrated" or anything. But one year we had a family get together and all the kids had spent the day playing games in the yard, so we all looked like homeless refugees, covered in dirt, t-shirts ripped from a fierce game of rugby. The get-together ran late into the night, so two of my cousins (one who had broken his nose earlier, so there was blood on his shirt) decided to go trick or treating. My neighbourhood at the time was a pretty conservative middle-class town, so you could proberbly see how this was a Bad Idea. And it was, cos they were arrested 20 minutes later. No charges were laid, though. They were just dropped off back at my place with a warning, and we didn't see them again for months! They even made the local paper! Well, in the CrimeWatch section, anyway.

We did a few really strange ones that might not be considered vandalism. But we wrapped a few parked cars in plastic wrap. Also, we bought a bunch of those cheap plastic forks and put them in peoples' lawns so they'd be like "WTF?" when they saw it.

Also, glitter in grass is a real pain in the ass to clean up, just so you know.
