This trailer is an example on how NOT to make trailers. What made the teaser so interesting was the setup. You got an atmosphere, a sort of mood if you will. This, on the other hand, prematurely ejaculates all the best moments before we're ready or even close to being ready. Thus, we are mostly left feeling unsatisfied.

Sorry, when the teaser came out, a lot of us dromies were happy at how dark it looked, and many hoped the final film would be just as dark.

But see, there was a feeling that that trailer evoked, a feeling harkening back to the first movie. Almost nostalgic, IMO. This last one felt exactly the way the new cartoon series felt. Empty. I'll see it, of course, but I just wish they would have kept to the more interesting shredder storyline. After all, wouldn't it be cool to see a CGI re-imagining of the first film's story arc?

I agree that the trailer isn't NEARLY as good as the first one. But then again, they obviously have to market this movie to kids somehow. I mean, yeah, some adults like us want it too (but that's why they have the first trailer). But I've found lately that of all the movies I've seen this year (and there have been a LOT) the trailer just doesnt do it justice at all.

And as far as the CG looking like crap, uh, what? It looks fine! The people don't look realistic, but that's so irrelevant (see The Incredibles). I don't see anything wrong with how this movie looks.

And no, I do NOT want a CG retelling of the original. I already know what happens.
