Buy or Rent?
I only liked the 2nd one for the PS2, but i guess this one is going to be a Different game overall. I personally love the Design of the game and what not.

Im extremely excited for this game. I love the art style and game play style they chose but excited as i am, i'm not sure if a single player campaign will keep me interested for long enough so I may just end up renting it

I'm buying it, plan and simple, I enjoyed the past games, no reason as of yet to believe this one will be worse, with its praise so far, most likely better.

Prince of Persia? I'm sorry, I thought that was 3D Zelda done right.
Buying, if I don't get it for Christmas. Unless it gets terrible reviews or lasts only 5-6 hours (doubt both of these - sounds like a big-ish game to me). Then I'll rent for sure. Either way, I'm wanting to play it.

Zelda? Really? I don't see it.
Can't wait for PoP, if anyone is interested the guys on Three Red Lights (http://au.xbox360.ign.com/articles/933/933996p1.html) bang on about the game for a fair while, it sounds like it might be the Prince of Persia everyone's been waiting for since Sands of Time.

I think the co-op stuff looks cheesy but it'll probably be loads of fun with someone else.

We can pretend, can't we?
"Yes, I'm playing a Nintendo game in beautiful HI-DEF!! AWESOME!"
Actually, that trailer above doesn't give me much Zelda vibe, but one of the early ones did... It shows a boss fight, and it just looked to me like a boss out of a Zelda game, and made me wonder what it'll be like to play Zelda in HD, two console generations from now.

Lol, fair enough, I can understand the desire to play Nintendo games in HD, and I guess I can see the comparison in the PoP one (well two technically) on one fighting system to Zelda fights.

Mannnnnnnnnnn.......
Nolan North is the voice of the prince! This is excellent. :D
I love Nolan's abilities. He's the guy who played Nathan Drake in Uncharted and what's-your-name in Assassin's Creed (when you're not playing as Altair).

Butter Balls made me want to uber bump this thread. Sorry. I just wanted to say that I loved this game and I don't get why so many outlets were negative about it. It even seems like the TRS crew felt it to be a misstep. Maybe it's because I have no nostalgic attachment to the earlier games' gameplay. I loved the rhythmic navigation and open world type feel. The art style was truly beautiful and while I know some people disliked Nolan North's voice on a supposedly Middle Eastern prince, it didn't bother me.
And I really felt like the story was fantastic. I bought into the lead characters' chemistry, so the end plot twist landed like a kick in the guts. Really poignant and powerful.
It bums me out that Ubisoft apparently ditched plans for a sequel and went back to the Sands story.
