I'm looking for a cheap 22" for around ~$200. Or if there is a 24" for around ~250 I could do that too...
It must have VGA and DVI inputs, USB is optional but preferred.
I'm planning to buy two of whatever one I choose, so a small border would be very nice.
I was looking at the Dell 2208WFP

Is this good, or could I do better?
Or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I bought a few E228's and 2208WFP's and while going directly from my higher-end Dells with better panels, Apples and Eizos was a bit or a 'oo-er, that doesn't look quite right' experience I can't say it's too bad. I've had pretty much the same experience with the Samsungs I've also picked up in terms of the panel. The Ultrasharp stands are quite ergonomic, although I always end up wishing for slightly more height adjustment especially with smaller monitors - but in fact relatively few others offers the levels of Dell's adjustment. These days I solely use the 22"s in 2 x 2 configurations on a VESA stand and the bezel sizes aren't too distracting.
The Dell would be well supported, which is just as important with monitors as with computers where it is quite possible to get a dud or for their panels to be / become out of whack: I've been thankful for Dell's on-site support, especially after the AppleCare guy has casually said "So sir, if you'd like to take those 30" monitors to the nearest Store they can look at them". Oh sure, let me just sling'em in my messenger bag and skip along to the Apple Store... Top rated support my ass
22-inch TN monitors seem to be the maximum for me where the limitation of the viewing angle isn't causing a distraction with colour shifting while looking at the entire monitor from a fixed head position, dead-on and is only mildly distracting in a side-by-side arrangement. I have looked at - but not owned - low-cost 24" monitors and they seemed to shift a lot more noticeably from a single vantage point. But this depends on what you're used to of course. I doubt if you haven't owned better monitors before that it would bother you much.
Generally speaking though, the Dell 22"s seem like good choices, especially if you take advantage of the plethora of coupon offers available. Just make sure you get the panel protection plan if it's not already included with the monitor.

My place of employment has been buying Dell Ultrasharp WFPs, and we've found the quality control on them to be excellent. The price is a tad on the high side. The Dell E series is probably just as good and a little cheaper, but be sure you check the black friday sales - right now the Ultrasharp 2208WFP is only $10 more than the E228.

Ok, so I came to a conclusion.
I'll buy one of these on the 10th of Dec.

Then on Christmas, I'll buy another one.
You guys think this is a good purchase?
I don't really mind not having a DVI port, I can always convert DVI to HDMI/VGA...

Neweggs listings (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2000190020%201309822582&bop=And&Pagesize=100) I'd definitely go with the Hanns G, Im using the 19inch model and it's excellent. Second in the running, is Acer, I'm using one of their 19inch as a flat screen tv, with the blackfriday sales I made it into a tv for 170 bucks XD
