I dunno, just a little game I thought of to amuse myself. Play just like six degrees to Kevin Bacon, but instead of actors and movies, use comic book creators and comics.
e.g. I can do JG Jones to Geoff Johns in 4 degrees:
The easiest I can see is JG Jones (0) illustrated Final Crisis (I) which was written by Grant Morrison (II) who wrote 52 (III) which was also written by Geoff Johns (IV).
or I can do Ben Templesmith to Geoff Johns in 6 degrees:
Ben Templesmith (0) -> Fell (I) -> Warren Ellis (II) -> Excalibur (III) -> Carlos Pacheco (IV) -> Green Lantern (V) -> Geoff Johns (VI)
You can really do this from any creator to any other creator, or any creator to any comic. (It gets trickier with indie creators and older industry people.)
And yes, I was very, VERY bored when I thought of this. (and if anyone's posted this before, my bad.)

Walt Simonson once waited in line for a sandwich
Geoff Johns was two people behind him
Both asked for extra mustard http://www.forumopolis.com/images/smilies/shifty.gif

True, but with time as a factor, it is considerably larger.

This can also be done in fewer steps
Paul Dini <--> Detective Comics <--> James Robinson <--> JSA <--> Geoff Johns
what was the deal with 6 degrees to kevin bacon again? Was it that anyone, including me, can be linked to him?

It was originally that everyone in Hollywood could be linked to him through films/television shows. But there's a wider theory that everyone in the developed world is separated by six links.
