This is a good representation of my nightmares.
a little bummed Proof isn't in the big group, but seeing all the Faerber/Invinciverse there along with a bunch of 90s awful people is cool

Not the least bit excited for whatever book that is for, but gah. Gorgeous art. I am always a sucker for group pictures. Not too mention Ryan Ottley.

I dont pick up much of Image but I would totally want to try out all of those character I dont recognize in the peice.
Witchblade DEFINITELY needs a new costume. Is she a superheroine or a stripper?

Image is my favourite company right now FOR all those people you probably don't know.
Check out Brit, Wolf-Man, Dynamo 5, Invincible, Noble Causes and Firebreather. That should fill in pretty much everyone not from the 90s.

I just started reading Noble Causes Archives last night, too. It's pretty great so far.
It's not a costume, that IS the witchblade. Prudes.

Just to be clear Ryan (who is indeed the cat's meow) opted to draw the 90s "bikini" Witchblade costume. That doesn't really appear in the comic anymore (outside of the occasional convention variant cover). Here's what the Witchblade costume looks like currently.

There, flip that is what I was talking about with Top Cow being too cheesecake of a company. I'll admit I dont read Witchblade too often, but I never would've known that is her costume now. Too many times I've seen either the company or conventions just advertise Witchblade with that costume Ottley drew.
If your ladies are more dressed like that then I definitely believe you that your shying away from the cheesecake mentality.

Hey, Witchblade looks badass and sensibly dressed for combat with the forces of evil.
What a world we live in where Ms. Marvel looks like a playmate in a one piece punching Doctor Doom and Witchblade is wearing full body armor.

Is it bad that when I see this (after appreciating the art) all I can think of is how much I don't want any of the other Image characters messing up the Kirk-verse that he has going? They wouldn't let that happen...right?

I have the same feeling. That art is amazing though, so at least it is some eye candy at the worst.
I hope you guys are at least reading Faerber's stuff and Firebreather!
They've already established a link with those characters and the books are awesome

I read Dynamo 5 that is the only Faerberverse title I have liked. Firebreather looks good but no trades are available.
