A Stunning Card Trick

I wanted to share with you all a fun card trick i cam up with. The basic effect of the trick is from a book called "the complete idiot's guide to street magic" and the subtleties are from myself. The effect of this trick is your spectator "freely chooses" a card, it is put in the middle of the deck, and with a tap of a knife, karate chop, etc, you riffle the cards to reveal their card cut in half in the middle of the deck. Without any more delay, the split card video.

(Note: when i made this video, i was tired, and i hadnt performed this trick in a while, so the handling isnt as polished and clean as it is in an actual performance.)

Pretty good trick, also note that there are hundreds of way to get someone to choose the card of choice.

thanks. and yea, there are as many ways to force a card as there are magicians, i just use that method because its easy, clean, and is a subtle way to start a theme of "cutting" the cards :D
