Hello,
I'm looking for a new podcatcher. I've tried iTunes and found version 8 and after to be buggy on Vista 64. I've tried Zune 3.0 and found I didn't have the control or option needed. I've tried Creative's Zencast and it crashes every time I use it. I've tried Juice and don't remember why I didn't like it.
Here is what I want. I want to be able to find where the files are. In Zune I can't right click and selected open in Windows Explorer. I want the catcher not to crash. I'd really like to designate specific folders for each podcast to be downloaded into. I want it to not start down loading once I've told it to stop, ala Zune. I would like it to be light weight. Maybe even with bandwidth adjustments like uTorrent, so I can watch web-programing while down loading a podcast. I would like it to recongize the podcast I've previously downloaded, and if it doesn't I want to be able to tell it where that file is. Much like how in iTunes it will ask you if you'd like to locate that file. I would like to be able to adjust things like album and artist without the catcher loosing and attempting to download the same file again.
