The point the e-mailer was making is that if you are in a relationship with someone you know your not gonna get an STD with, but you don't want to use a condom to prevent conception, that the shot is 4tw. As for the bit about injections at the end. I was diagnosed with MS about 8 months ago and to keep it in check I have a drug called Rebif. Rebif is a subdermal (not intravenous) injection that I take 3 times a week, either in the arm, leg, posterior, or stomach. Now I don't know anything about this contraceptive, but they're subdermal like Rebif the injections are not bad at all. At best I don't feel a thing and actually have to make sure it worked, at worst it's slightly uncomfortable for about 30 seconds. Plus it uses a spring loaded gun called the Rebiject II, so it's almost instantanious. I imagine the contraceptive would use something similar.
