Every year I write a "Bah! Humbug!" card to spread a little fun. It's too long to post here, but you can read it--if you are so inclined--at the blog link below.

In any case. Merry Christmas to all you Christmasians and happy holidays to you lae December hangers-on!

I'll allow the thread to survive in the spirit of the season. But, normally, threads crated to promote blogs are spam even if they don't contain links.

However, I'll make it legal.

Post your Christmas and other Holiday messages here!

Thanks. I wasn't really trying to promote my blog-it's a dustbowl--it just seemed like the best place to store the file.

P.S. The borg just assimilated your angel.

i store things in my blogs so i don't lose them

sometimes i write something interesting though i haven't lately

here are the lyrics to a xmas song i like it is anglican so i only heard of it fairly recently

TOMORROW SHALL BE MY DANCING DAY

Tomorrow shall be my dancing day;
I would my true love did so chance
To see the legend of my play,
To call my true love to my dance;

Chorus
Sing, oh! my love, oh! my love, my love, my love,
This have I done for my true love

Then was I born of a virgin pure,
Of her I took fleshly substance
Thus was I knit to man's nature
To call my true love to my dance. Chorus

In a manger laid, and wrapped I was
So very poor, this was my chance
Betwixt an ox and a silly poor ass
To call my true love to my dance.

Chorus

I am sorry.

All I have to offer is that my Mother died about 4:07am X-mas morning. I never thought that happened to people.

Family on the other side. My fathers' side, sent over a hearty Holiday dinner. Cornish hens, all the "fix'ens" for sure.

As terrible as that day was. True family that loved my Mother, supported us as if we were living with them. I will never forget the love that was sent.

Then years later.....don't think I forgot a second of that day. How my family made that day that much better. Made us feel that love from my Mother that they shared with the rest of us. A true replacement for my Mother on that day. This is an important thing folks. When the love from an "in-law" of my Mother, replaces her the day she dies. Christmas being that day. You have no idea.

Make sure you tell your family how much you love them, NOW!

Christmas Morning is never the last time you have a chance.

Make sure that is not the last time.

Thank you all and enjoy your family now more than ever. You can never love them more.

I was thinking of you this morning Frankie. Early this morning my Dad was in a really bad car accident. He had an asthma attack, blacked out, and hit a pole in front of his work. We got a call from his boss around 4ish am saying he was in an accident and was taken to shock trauma.

My mom, brother and I jumped up and were on our way to Baltimore city within 10 minutes.

They ran a bunch of tests on him and gave him a cat scan. Other than being sore he's FINE.

He was at shock trauma for a few hours and was well enough to walk out the door sore, with ripped clothing and glass still in his pockets (my dads one tough mother "f-er"). Other than being pretty sore he's okay.
Not many people are that lucky.

Take a moment to think of how thankful you are all to have loved ones around you, because it can all be gone in a split second. Don't take it for granted. Enjoy the holidays with your loved ones and have a safe fun time.
