Fighting In a Comic Shop.

So there i was at the comic shop today, when these drunk jocks came in an started talking shit. Me and my friend were in the back looking to see if Cosmic had any Countdown to Infinite Crisis(Day of Vengence, etc.) and we're pretty big. So these a-holes yell "anyone who reads comics are a bunch of ****OTS!!!"
Then they proceed to take Punisher War Journal #1 and rip it in half. big tough guys. It's just me and my friend and the owner at this point. they didn't know we were there.
So me and my friend walk up to these knobs. the owner had no idea what to do. the one guy looks at me and says "What do you want nerd? did I rip your favorite hero?" These retards must have been right out of high school because his buddy just goes "Yeah *****, did he rip him?" Me and my friend just crack a smile and look at each other. then we both punched one right in the head, and threw them out of the store...nobody ****s with Cosmic Comics. while all this was happening the owner called the cops. the got arrested for Disturbing the peace and vandalism. it was cool, the guy gave me and my friend $30 store cred. and i used some of it to pay for the Punisher book.

any one else have a comic shop fight? or perhaps something similar? Standing up for fellow geeks is so awesome.

I'm no hero, but good on you for standing up against these guys. No for the geek community, but for the store guy. I hate it when a bunch of morons are destructive for no good reason, especially to bash somebody for taste in hobbies. They had what they had coming!

Wow, amazing story. I'm not too big of a guy, but I did wrestle for several years in high school (you wouldn't think I did if you saw me). I was also very interested in UFC for a period of time. So I can take most brainless jocks, I have gotten if small fights before, but never in a comic shop. Nobody messes with us on our own turf! Geeks rock.

One of the clerks was critisizing my choices and yelling at me because I was taking to long to look around and I said "has anyone ever told you that your an asshole" and he threw me out...thats it though
