My friends wanted to see this movie, I decided to go along since it was Christmas night, most places were closed, and I had nothing better to do.

Just a friendly warning to all who read this thread. Avoid this movie at all costs.

I was expecting another me-too superhero movie with no real substance, but at the very least some entertaining fight scenes. Didn't even get that, several groups of people walked out of the movie. The acting was terrible except for one or two people (even Samuel L Jackson messed it up) and the writing was beyond ridiculous. Cheesy line after cheesy line, metaphors that fall flat on their faces, jokes that aren't funny. It just didn't stop.

Ever since Comic Con people have been talking about how bad this movie is.

Good to know. When the trailer hit earlier this year I thought to myself "that looks like the greatest movie or the worst movie of the year"

I'm hearing so much how bad it is that I want to go see it just to see if it could exceed my incredibly low expectations, but I suspect it is one of those movies that somehow manages to be worse than is imaginable.

yeah i was all psyched for this movie, even with all the bad talk it got at comic con, and after seeing it, i know why. the only thing i can say good about it, is that i did think it was pretty visually, other than that it sucked
