best way to benchmark pc?

I just built a system and want to benchmark everything from cpu speeds and temp to usb speeds to see how I can get the most out of my system and what needs improvement. Im just looking for suggestions on software to benchmark everything and how I can see if the results are good avg need tweaking etc
