Great choice ...

I would agree, although it would be a close call with the 1-2 punch of "We will rock you" followed by "We are the champions".

The reason this power combo drops is because of song licensing resulting in things like this -

SkELRp4wKPs

I'll go classic rock as well and go Led Zepplin ... not the iconic Stairway to Heaven (which is overplayed poorly in every music store around the world), but Kashmir (is it considered a cover if its performed by Page and Plant?).

Yeah. I agree, simply from the Pepsico-drink-this angle.

Art is economy. There are two short stories crushed into about 300 words.

Not finding a good enough youtube to post, but a lot of bands put out their great songs first, then fed off them pushing out pablum for the rest of thier careers. Example, "Golden Country" by REO Speedwagon, a great song, but followed by decades of hairband dreck.

Then there are those long lived classic rockers who pull off a beautiful unexpected ballad out thier hats.
