a coworker told me a good scam using a pool table and 2 cue sticks you lay the cue sticks on the pool table and you bet the person a beer that you can roll the ball (can be any of the pool balls) under the cue sticks. they think they have a leg up on you because a ball cant roll under the cue sticks. then you roll the ball under the table.

LOL I like this one!
It's kind of similar to "Jumping higher than a tree":
(1) Say to a friend "I bet you five dollars I can jump higher than that tree"
(2) They say "Sure" and you shake on it.
(3) Claim your 5 bucks - trees can't jump!

nice! I hadn't heard this variation. Was thinking of collecting a bunch of these sucker-bets and doing an ep of them.

Might be a good time to do the "knuckle rap" where you bet you can glance your knuckles harder on the edge of a table than the mark can.

There is one where you each place a pool ball on the bumper above the table surface. On the top rim. With your index finger on top of the ball you squezze the ball onto the table. This automatically creates backspin. Most pool balls travel a foot or two. If you wet your finger first you can get rid of the backspin. Should go all the way, you can go first or second, no matter.
Did this make any sense?

Plenty, I saw that one on the real hustle show (Here in the UK). Problem I found was my friends instantly tried to negate backspin by taking a low angle, so they got pretty far, I still beat them. But it wasn't quite so impressive.
Speaking of the real hustle they gave me this one:
I've got a friend who loves to ride her horse, she spends loads of time with him, so I challenged her and her horse to a race against my on foot. The only condition was that I could lay out the course, she agreed after asserting that I wasn't going to use any fences larger than 4ft. :P
The reason I'll be able to win is I'll set out a zigzag course, horses have larger turning circles than people, so I should be able to win. You remember that song 'never run from a crocodile'? Same principle, you have to zigzag :)
