HI,
Everyone;)
I am using Win Xp sp2.I am using a broadband internet connection shared creating a workgroup. I want to know whether it is possible that my computer can be hacked. Is it really possible?
PLZ let me know.

There is always a threat, but don't get paranoid about it.
You've said you have a machine that you are sharing an internet connection through using workgroups ... but what is the physical hardware setup?
Broadband modem (cable modem?) -> Router/Switch -> Computers?
If that is the case, the router is actually providing your firewall and most of your network protection, then all you really need on the local machines is a virus scanner, and a spyware filter.

You're perfectly safe! Put all your credit card and banking account info right there on the computer. Don't worry about anything.
