My sister recently got a Zune from her boyfriend for Christmas, and of course she was excited. However, in order to use the Zune software to add music (like iPods iTunes) you have to be running Windows XP. Her computer is only running Windows 2000. Does anyone know of a way to add music to the Zune with Windows 2000? I've checked the Zune website and what not, and found nothing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

MS in their infinite wisdom decided NOT to make the Zune appear as a USB connected device in Windows.
I am not sure if this registry hack (http://phaleux.com/?p=8) will work in W2K, but its worth a try.
If you can plug the Zune in, and have it mount as an external drive, then you should be able to drag/drop songs to it. Not the best solution, but until your sister moves to XP (or Vista), thne that is probably the best she can hope for.
