HELP! I'm searching for a decent webcam for my folks to chat with over iChat on a mac mini running Leopard 10.5.6. I've been doing a lot of searching on amazon with mixed results, each cam i find that someone says it should work, someone else is reporting that it doesnt... or that it works poorly.
I know logitech has one that is made for the mac, but at a hefty price tag of $140 or so. That's a bit more than I was looking to spend on this, any tips on something within the $25-$60 price range?
thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Do they have a video camera? The absolute BEST webcam I have ever used was actually my video camera.
Any USB video camera should be fine. You are not using these things to shoot movies with. Images will be choppy - but that is not a function of the camera. People often attribute problems to the wrong thing.

I know someone who uses a Rocketfish webcam on a Mac. They're hard to find, but if you can find one on ebay, it's an option.
