well . . . Hello! On the 6th alone you've got Sacramento Autorama! On the 13th Johnny Sanchez with Rob DaRocha and Tapan Trived at the Punchline! Gotta atack these venues early.

Next genius idea:
Everyone in California take the first and third weeks of the month off. Stay in your home with the lights out. You will be rich in no time.

Schwarzenegger said the furloughs will save the state about $1.3 billion in the next 18 months as California as it grapples with a deficit projected at $42 billion in that time.
doesn't seem all that stupid to me.

It's definitely a good idea, I just think it's funny.
"We need to save money. What should we do?"
"We could... Not... Use things that... Cost money? Maybe."
"YES! We will not use things! That's what we'll do!"

I think they should go even further. Instead of just closing the govt on those days, the state of California should actually cancel the first and third friday of every month. For instance, Fri feb 6 everwhere else would become Saturday feb 7 in Cali. Over time, California would be weeks, even months closer to recovery than the rest of the world. I mean, this recession isn't going to last forever. If it lasts two years, and california commits to this plan now, the state will be up and running almost two full months before the rest of us. In addition, the people of california will be skipping the equivalent of six meals a month, making them extra healthy and lowering health care costs. I think they are onto something.

Dunno. I think intelligence (http://www.iqleague.com/) is relative.
