What do you think of Morbius and The Lizard being the featured villains in Spiderman 4? Sam Raimi want Morbius

Always wanted to see Mysterio, but I think the Lizard would be awesome.

The Lizard is long over due. Dr. Connors has been mentioned or seen in all the movies if i recall correctly. It's about damn time! Morbius is a pretty cool "off the beaten path" villain.

I'm not sold on The Lizard idea.
I think that having Dylan Baker's Dr. Connor's fight Spider-Man would be a stale continuation of the tradition of having sympathethic villains with a personal connection to Peter Parker.
It would echo Doc Ock too closely, in my insanely un-humble opinion.
In fact, the idea of having a 'Spider-Man 4' is a bad one. But hey... there's still money to be made, and I doubt Sony would leave well enough alone without running it into the ground.

I also really want to see Mysterio in a spider man film, but this sounds fine as well.

Don't really care about the villain. I do care about Raimi. I'm not going to watch another spider-man movie made by him.

Because one of the 3 was bad? or did you find a bad taste in your mouth with more than one film?
Because if your going off of just one...thats kinda sad. I'm down to give him another try.
An if the whole story about him not wanting venom really in 3 was true an they "made" him add venom then i say its not his fault he didnt put his whole into 3(well i guess it IS his fault lol) when he didnt see it as the baby he wanted to make.

I'd like to jump on the band wagon and say that Morbius would automatically be horrible, but there is a chance that it could work out.
In the future I think these comic book franchises should just call it quits after the third film and start over again with a new set of films. For example, how about doing a set of movies were Peter Parker remains in high-school with new actors, directors and visual styles.

When did it almost become a rule that any super hero movie sequel must have 2 villains in it?

I wish they'd just stop making Spiderman films because they're all terrible.

Might as make it craptacular have Wesley Snipes reprise his role as Blade(if he isn't in prison) and him and Spider man can team up to take Morbius down. :p

Because the first two were okay at best, and the third one was some of the worst cinema I've ever seen.
I don't get why everybody is all up in arms about the first two spider-man movies. Of course I respect people's opinion.
Except if that opinion is "Spider-Man 3 is not a bad movie".
Spider-Man 3 was all of what made 1 and 2 bad, and none of what made them alright.

Yes 3 sucked. but with knowing 1 and 2 both made some fun movie time, why not hope for the best in a 4th?
I really hope they dont just call it spider man 4 tho...lol
As for blade....lmao that would be very odd they took two different routes in making each franchise.

When did it almost become a rule that any super hero movie sequel must have 2 villains in it?
Two guess:
1) Since writers lost the creative edge to properly develop one character throughout the length of an entire film?
2) Or more likely, to have more merchandise to sell, more marketing material to advertise, and more big-name actors to throw on the press tour.
They also need to try to fit in as many characters as they can from the bulky Spiderman history. Doing just one at a time, people would always beg for more.

i'll wait and see who they get for Spider-Man 4 and some more info. and despite unpopular opinion, i liked the third the best

I'm a little excited to see what can be done with Morbius, but I'm also disappointed that there's no Black Cat talk, I really expected her to be the focus of Spider-Man 3, I think we all would of preferred Felicia over Gwen. With that said, I love Sam Raimi and hopes he can make Spider-Man 4 awesome.
