The ultimate Tony Jaa returns with an epic sequel of his infamous martial arts movie, Ong Bak. This movie has been in the works for more than a year in a half because of complications. It was recently finalized and screened in Thailand. This is Tony Jaa's first debut as a director, while starring in the film.
The movie finally released in Thailand. Hoping we will get a US release soon.

the stories are ridiculous, but damn Jaa's movies have cool fight scenes. BTW, anyone see the trailer for the other kung fu film Chocolate?

I don't know if it's just me, but watching this trailer I get the impression that with him taking over directing, that he's trying to make Ong Bak his Drunken Master. Aside from a few moves looking similar and him having a slight swagger to his demeanor. Not a suave swagger, but in this case it seemed like he stumbled and what not from exhaustion. But beyond that it seems like he's following the same story arc that Jackie Chan did with his Drunken Master series.
Maybe it's just me. Oh and Hello.

heya nick . . . was thinking same thing . . . but without the care for the character - just looks like a pissed off dude kicking people in cool ways while frowning . . . or a documentary titled: "Where Stunt Men go to Die"
