Wow...I dont know if this is already out but I was thinking of things for Gmail and heres my idea...How about a list of sites/accounts you have signed up for with that email account along with the password....
OO La La
Someone tell me if this is already around for another mail system...

Not sure what you mean. Could you be more specific? If it is what I think you think it is, than I think it might be cool, but I'm not sure I think what you are thinking is what I think you think.
;)
Maybe give an example of how it could be used...

Alright...I have about five e-mail address all of which I have spread among different forums, accounts for things, facebook, ebay, wikipedia, youtube, anything...And so for example when I know I have an account for facebook but cannot remember the e-mail I registered it under than there is a whole section in my e-mail that lists all my accounts and when one clicks on the account, it will give you information about this account (Username, password). Just would be a nice way to keep all of your usernames and accounts in one place and what usernames you have linked with what emails. Get what I'm saying?

Yep. That's what I thought you were thinking. My only issue with that is trusting google, or any other online service, with my passwords.

True...But whats the difference that when you tell a site that "I forgot my password" and they send it to the email you signed up as....Isnt google still getting it?
It seems if google wants your password for something and as long as you actively use your gmail account...They can get it

I have no idea what you mean. I think I'm too old to keep up with your brain, Klitzy.
Mmmm, brainz.
I think it's a good idea, no real problems with it. It's google, come on lol

You could just have a text document with your e-mails and passwords saved on your computer to solve this problem right now.

Some things are simple like that, but doesn't mean this wouldn't be better or cooler.

But it is certainly safer, especially if you password protect it. Or use Keychain that comes with Mac, or what might be available for Windows.
Just because we can trust Google the company, doesn't mean we can trust all twenty billion Google employees.
