y: the last man -> which trade to buy?

hi,

i was planning on buying the hardcover trade of 'y: the last man'.

as i was looking it up on amazon, i came across two versions:

2) from random house (10/2008) -> http://www.amazon.de/Last-Man-Book-One-Deluxe/dp/1401219217/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books-intl-de&qid=1231756280&sr=1-2

the random house is a 'deluxe edition'.

the only difference that i can see, is that the random house is about 5mm bigger in height.

does anyone know these two editions?

Are you looking to buy the Dutch/German/European version of the book? If you are, I didn't see any noticable differences there, and it's probably a safe bet that they are similar. Personally, I would buy the one from 12/2008 because it looks like that's the one they have in stock new.

yes i'll be ordering from amazone.de. i'm in germany and do not pay any shipping charges that way.

both the versions from the post above are in english, so i really don't se the difference either. guess i'll throw acoin.

judging from the cover pics (tricky on amazon, i know) the titan book has the vertigo logo on the front. maybe they just messed up the publisher information.

looked on titan books homepage for information: nothing on 'y: the last man' at all.

and on the random house page they have book two with (you gueesed it) the vertigo logo -> http://www.randomhouse.ca/catalog/display.pperl?isbn=9781401222352


maybe they are all the same (vertigo) and titan/random house are just the distributers for different areas.
