View Full Version : Kilzzone 2 Hype!?

Killzone 2 is coming out on Feb 27. I have been very skeptical about this game ever since the infamous CG footage was shown at E3 a few years back, but recently all the previews and gameplay videos have been overwhelmingly positive. Graphically, it looks like one the best console games I've seen.
Does anyone agree or disagree?

I dunno, it just seems like all the PS3 exclusives are getting ridiculous amounts of hype these days. I hope it's great for all the PS3 owners out there though.

I hope this game is amazing, It looks like what Call of Duty would be in the future.
I need more from games than what the overrated Halo offers, I need Gears of War and COD - I think this is that for the PS3 only.
What really matters to me are the co-op functionality and features - If it's limited in any rediculous way, I'll be pissed and will not buy it.

Killzone 2 is co-op-less (no co-op).

That game makes me wish I could afford a PS3 (well that and LBP), but alas I live in Australia where the PS3 costs eleventy billion dollars.

There is no Co-op, but the multiplayer is rather extensive

wow, way to promote the PS3 exclusives by not having having co-op in the one of the most anticipated games. F-ing Perfect Dark had co-op 10 years ago (TEN YEARS!) and this killer app doesn't.

the hype for this game died for me awhile ago. i'll give it a rent when it hits. and if it does do well ratings/review wise then i will def check it out.

I'm kinda annoyed at the lack of co-op too, but it's far from a deal-breaker. I've enjoyed many single-player games, and nothing has suddenly stopped me from enjoying many more.

edit: on second viewing, the "big set pieces" video is new but I intentionally avoided that because of environmental spoilage.
