It's true: you can never have too much money, have too many friends, or know too many ways to predict the freaking future.

Oh, I liked this, I could totally see pulling it off for another round of drinks after the Pigment Prediction. Also, Brian, I've got a question for the show. I just watched the video you tweeted with the Masked Magician http://tinyurl.com/9t3d2g
So this prompts two questions. First, I'm assuming in your years of work, you've had a slip up or two. Any wonderfully good or bad stories about magic/scam fails (not including the 'first trick you ever bought' or your 'first attempt at the knife test' both of which are wonderfully epic)? Which brings me to the more important question: how do you handle a misfire? Say you accidentally lose control of the key card (an amateur mistake) and it gets shuffled in? Or maybe your mark is asked to cut the cards and he shuffles them? Do you back out of the trick? Start over?

Woot! My domain smack made it into an episode!
...and the Yankees still suck.
My first thought while watching this episode:
"Wow, that guy's got some crazy hair. Oh wait... he's sitting next to Brian."
I'm so used to seeing Brian's hair week-after-week that it didn't seem unusual anymore.
As for the trick featured in the episode, my grandmother always has dominoes handy at her house. This will be something fun to try on my family sometime.

That's definitely an impressive one to pull off, think I'll try it sometime. Best thing, it's as simple as they get!

I love the guy's expressions. After he finishes putting the dominoes together he say "I was trying to make a swastika."
Really great trick. I'm gonna have to try this one out.

As described, the domino scam has a 25% chance of failure :(
(That's with a Double 6 set , there's a lower chance with bigger sets.)
The problem is that if you "cop" a double by accident, you have
no guarantee how the chain of dominoes will end.
(Proof: consider the double-six ... if it were inserted between
a 3/6 and a 6/4, it wouldn't affect the ends of the chain.)
So...be careful, and don't hold out a double :)

I think that could be remedied just by making it a policy not to start the trick until you've confirmed that you didn't steal out a double...
good observation, though!
