Since the DVD release of RocknRolla is coming up I thought I could bring up the topic again. I really enjoyed this film and was shocked to see the TRS gang dislike for the film. Now I will say this I've seen the film more then once and each time I watch I enjoyed it even more,But Am I really the only one that liked this movie if so then the planned trilogy won't happen. Also I'll agree with Jeff that the twist at the end didn't have much build it was meantioned briefly but still it wasn't until the Third Act that it picked up on that topic. Finally when Alex talked about how they stole the money and lived on like nothing happened. He forgot that they gave half to Stella leaving them with 3.5 million they owed 2 million to Lenny leaving them with 500k each. Anyways I just thought that people should give this movie a second chance.

Loved it, thought it was every bit as good as Lock Stock and Snatch and am hoping for a sequel.

I didn't think it was as good as the two classic Richie flicks, but the big action sequence around the middle was one of my favorite scenes of all time. I would re-watch it exclusively to see that scene again.

I loved it and think it rounds out a nice trio of gangster flicks with Lock Stock and Snatch. I thought the main cast were great. Mark Strong is definitely a great presence on screen. I also really warmed to Gerrard Butler in this film. I loved 300, but the characters are kind of two dimensional (by design). I thought Butler gave a very naturalistic performance in this flick. Guy Ritchie returning to the English gangster film is like Scorsese returning to American mob. I'm not putting Ritchie on the same level as Scorsese but they both have a lock on these subjects.
