Hey fellow radkins,

so I just watched the BSG season premier (errr..mid-premier?) and had a couple questions that have been bothering me throughout the series and even more so now.

1) The cylons are robots/machines. Yet, what makes that so? There is no machinery in them. They have blood, flesh, and a organs. If not, then an x-ray machine or chopping off an arm could tell who is a cylon and not. The show, from my memory, never really explains this and it bothers me t no end. Are they basically clones? Would we call clones a machine? I just don't get it.

2) I'll keep this spoiler free. When the last 5 cylons are revealed, why is that we just now see copies of them. I'm confused on whether this is just the show not letting you see them before this moment, or if there is a reason and there was only one copy out there for a while.

These might seem like noob questions for most, but it would really add to my enjoyment of the show.

The hybrids are organically made, which is why they appear to be human. Scientific testing shows them for what they are.

We haven't seen copies of the Final Five aside from the five we've seen. Moore said there's "something fundamentally different" about these five The "copies" we've seen of the five are memories. We've seen nothing to indicate that more than one copy of each of them exist at a time. I am absolutely positive about this, that we have NOT seen multiple copies.
