I searched and didn't see a topic on this so I thought I'd make one.
This movie had been on my DVR for a few weeks now and I finally got around to watching it after Dan picked it as his 5th favorite movie and some high praise from some of the /Film guys.
This is probably the most emotional film I've ever seen and I was wondering if anyone else had seen it and what they thought about it.

It's coming out on dvd February 24th in America according to Amazon.com. Also check MSNBC because they play it regularly. I think they played it earlier this month.

Just about done watching. It's playing right now and I'm bawling. Anyone who has seen it can guess which part I'm at.

You can watch it with Netflix's instant view on the xbox or PC. That's how I watched it.
Unbelievably emotional. I knew NOTHING before watching it other than the recommendation. I regret watching it without having something to do or being sleepy. I couldn't get it out of my head which is EXACTLY what the documentary wanted. I still cringe at the outcome of that real life horror.

I watched it a couple weeks ago... very shocking. I didn't recommend it to my Mother or Grandparents (I am their source for movies) just because it was abrupt, they can't handle those types of movies. I have a very thick skin to things and this movie was the only movie that has literally left me paralyzed for awhile. I couldn't fall asleep after(watched it at night)

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I have been completely blown away by this film. I don't think I've cried this hard in years, I don't think I did when either of my great grandmothers died. This move was powerful, beyond words, and I have literally been sobbing on and off for the past hour. I'm just totally blown away.
Not only did I sob in front of my brother, but on the phone with my Mother. People probably heard me when my brother got a phone call, and I'm sure the kids playing outside heard (I had the windows open). If you need some kind of emotional catharsis, this is your film.
I'm so thankful that TRS placed some attention on this film, frankly, it deserves a lot more. I will be making it a point to discuss this with people I know from now on.

Now I'M digging up this old thread. Just wanted to thank the TRS guys for recommending a movie that I wouldn't have watched without them.
I had heard this was a heart-wrenching movie, but I really didn't expect it to hit me with the force that it did. This movie TORE MY HEART OUT. I don't think I've ever cried this hard watching any movie. It will haunt me for days.
It's on Netflix Instant Streaming. Please watch, but DEFINITELY have the tissues at the ready.
