Just so you know Dan, in VC you can save mid battle by hitting triangle during your turn in the map view, it'll bring up a menu that has save as one of the options.

Totally agree with Alex on My Bloody Valentine. At the start when the sheriff is patrolling the hospital with all the bodies strewn everywhere and says "happy fucking Valentine's day", I thought this was gonna be a great send-up on 80s horror. Then after an awesome intro segment it becomes a pretty slow-moving, traditional slasher piece that seems to take itself seriously. The intro and the last 20 minutes are good but there is a big stretch of crap in the middle. A crap sandwich if you will.

Don't think so. If something is far away from the camera, the red and the green version of the object should be close. The closer it is, the red and green will be farther apart. It didn't seem to have that.

I used red-blue 3D-glasses on the intro, and some of the stuff in the intro looked a little bit 3D. Very cool.
I'm going to try those TRS LBP stages as soon as I can. They looked awsome. nice Q&A :)

Good to hear the Geekdrome answer which was as i, and im sure others, expected, really. Excellent show, as per usual guys :) I wish it were possible for a Q and A every week. I guess, you could encorporate voicemail into the show, and run through 1 to x, depending on length. I'd certainly love it.

A good episode, best episode in a while. Alot of things clicked and Jeff, Dan and Alex was good.

Btw that game sounded sort of like Shining Force (but that didn't have those 3d action parts to it).

I've been predicting for a couple of weeks that Alex would hate Valkyria Chronicles. With that in mind, I was glad to see that this game nearly melted his icy, strategy-hating gamer's heart. (Still curious to hear if he got through Ch. 7 - the big tank out in the desert. I know that they were talking about a chapter they found hard, but it sounded more like Ch. 3 or 4.)

good history too.
If you like RPG or strategy games it definitly for you.

same here. i only have a ps2 and im only playing persona 4. that makes me think why that game might not sell well. may be because they think its a jrpg game. is everyone hating on jrpg these days? i think people just generalize jrpg too much.

I've been really curious for a while now about Valkyria Chronicles, so I'm relieved to heard the guys liked it. Also, I've never really ever seen gameplay footage for Little Big Planet, now I'm back to being torn between getting a 360 and a PS3, thanks TRS! [Kidding, this was a very good episode.]

Oh, and I don't think the Geekdrome answer really surprised anyone, but it was good to have a little more closure on it. Plus the Geekscape plug was a nice touch.

This week's best Steve moment has to be that brief "Take On Me" sketchiness. Loved it!

Anyone know if Little Big World will ever be on Xbox 360. It looks like fun, but I think I heard that it's not technically possible to do on the Xbox. Not sure if that's true or not. Would love to play it, but not going to go drop the $$ on a PS3.

Sony published it and owns the IP, unless Sony Computer entertainment pulls a Sega not happening. You'll have to wait for a copy cat game.

The 3d opening worked pretty well for me, BUT, I had to flip the blue/red around to red/blue for it to work (I've played with programs that do 3d on images -not video- and it seemed pretty easy to make that mistake.)

Yeah it was the last one, i think it was called Totally Rad Adventure Pt. 1. Haven't gotten around to the second part yet. I had to end it where it was due to reaching the level size cap.

Before the episode was placed up I wondered if they were going to talk about VC. My friend who does not have a PS3 actually bought it so he could use mine to play it. We take turns playing each battle. It's a pretty awesome strategy game. I love that Vyse and Aika from Skies of Arcadia are in it. I do think that the medic kind of looks like Feena. The story line also seems to be similar to Skies of Arcadia.

I thought it was awesome that they picked some of the LBP levels that I played.
