Alright guys...Everyone is probably noticing the "Idiots", "Stupid posters", mean jokes, etc and frankly...It was funny for about an hour today but now its old. This was never a problem on the old forum and it's starting to become a problem so lets all just get along....Seriously, someone shouldnt have to worry about getting harassed when coming here. Like Gilmore said, it's a place to get away from the real world and for me...to go to a place where people don't know me but just for the record, I dont have anything to hide.
Back to the point...Lets drop the flaming and stuff and just be nice. Do onto others as you would like done to you. Like I said, funny for a minute but now it's redundant and lame. I would hate for people to start getting banned or warned for being mean because this has really never ever been a problem and it's really cool that it hasn't. So below...I have listen some of general rules that I think people should guide...
1)Do unto others as you would like done to you(Yes I know I have said this twice now)
2)Don't judge...We all like tech and thats all that should matter
Yes...Two...Thats all....Seriously...As my dad would say when I was younger...."It was funny the first time" and the first time is over so let's drop the whole "hating on" users.

I miss the old forums. Since the update it's brought out the worst kind of people. Can't we all just get along?

Its not the new forums fault....I love the new forums but people just need to be more respectful of others at least after a while.

Not blaming the forums it's great, the update brought alot of attention to the site and new people. Along with that the flamers, spammers, and trolls came along. I agree people should be respectful of others.

I considered posting a thread like this earlier, but decided it might cause more flaming. You know, holiday time always sets people on edge. Usually due to the sense of obligation to spand more money than is available while still having bills to pay and not the extra income. But it's like either spend or be seen as cheap and stuff. At least I think.
And to think, YOU were banned for a while! LOL
Easy to forget you're 16. I haven't seen you on AIM for a while. Where are you? :)

I've been here but I have been on an apple lately so when I am on aim I can only be on one screen name at a time so I am on my other one...The one real people know me under. Hehe two screen names...One for reality and one for revision3. :D

I've got no problems with any of the regulars here.
Even if Aria wants to hate me because I debate a few of her points or opinions, it's all in good fun. One thing I like doing is discussing things of importance, and even having a good argument about an issue. What someone may misconstrue as an argumentative tone is just me trying to have a discussion - and after all, that's what message boards are for.
You're always going to have it though. Whether people are here for the sole reason of creating drama or whether it's created due to misunderstanding, that's life. I think what's most vital is for everyone to realize this is the internet and this is a message board. If you're truly getting upset or seriously trying to hurt someone's feelings by slinging around insults - YOU have the problem.

How about I want to get rid of the insults so that every thread doesnt have 5 posts attacking someone. Maybe everyone here should have their own thread and then we can post in it what we like or don't like about them.

Headcase, this is just it, okay? You are taking every chance you can to stab, and this just shows extreme immaturity and is frustrating. You are NOT having an all-in-good-fun debate when someone gets frustrated and decides to walk away, then you bait that person back into arguing. On certain topics, if someone is hurt, it is NOT their problem. We are all real people and, though there is a sense of relative anonymity online, the ones hurling the insults are also real people. The problem is remembering that when you try to upset someone, that that person is a REAL person.

I don't believe I have ever attacked or personally insulted you, but if you want to act like I have, then that's your perogative. I apologize if you've taken something I've said personally because I'm not a mean person. Yes, I like to debate and argue topics, but it's not in bad spirit. If I'm so immature, just ignore me, because I don't think I've done anything to deserve YOU attacking or insulting me either.

Someone ele who has NOT been in any of these "discussions" originally aplied the term "baiting." I tried ignoring you, and you turned it into a thing of, "Oh she's just mad she can't make me look like I'm 4." So when I don't ignore you, you tell me to. WTF?

I was looking for a response because I felt I had given you enough respect to respond to your points that I deserved some of the same respect. But, if every response from you is going to be acting like I'm making you some victim, then I'd rather you just ignore my posts. I'm not trying to fight with you or anyone on this board. I've never brought anything into other threads trying to start fights with you... any post I made towards you that may have been deemed as argumentative, was in the thread in which the particular discussion was taking place. If I was just following you around trying to fight, why would I respond in your other threads or answer your questions in threads? If you want to ignore my posts, that's fine, because I don't want to come into every thread feeling like I'm seen as some instigator.

Read this (http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2419), and reflect on Rule 3.
I *will* be handing out timeouts to those that are actively flaming so they can cool down for awhile - but I wont be doing it retroactively.

Sometimes you just reach an impasse and agree to disagree.
It's okay. We are all special in our own ways. Different strokes for different folks.
Now, let's get back to shapening up children!!
And 1, and 2, and 3...
