I'm not sure if it's against any rules to post sales here. But I'm not working for Amazon or anything, just trying to help out here. And this is quite a sale.
I just bought 3, one for me and the others for two of my friends. I was considering buying this at Best Buy a month ago when it was $125....... $59.99 is ridiculous. It even comes with both CD Soundtracks. Also, the absolute best packaging for any DVD set I have ever seen.
I know the TRS guys have all mentioned this show quite a bit in other reviews, even recently. So if you are interested in checking it out, I doubt you will ever see it this cheap again.

Makes me wish they'd put something I like that much in Gold Box for that much of a discount. Watched a bit of the first episode one time, and realized this was something I wouldn't be able to watch, due to the subject matter.

Well, it is HBO week in Gold Box... So the things they were discounting are all pretty much adult shows. Although Extras the complete series was $15, and that would be an all ages show. I missed out on that sale though, I'm pretty upset about that one.

It's not an age thing, believe me, it's just a "death creeps me out" thing.

Oh, well then it definitely isn't the show for you. The show is very sad. At times it really got to me, one scene in particular still scares me thinking about it. I do think the show should be required viewing for everyone though.
A friend of mine's family runs a funeral home. So maybe I am kind of used to it. Having been there many times to help move furniture. And it's interesting to hear him talk about the show compared to what happens in real life.

Tell me, because I only watched a small portion of the pilot (up until the first dead guy on-screen), what's the comedy-to-drama ratio? Because if it balances out, I might give it another shot sometime.

I would say it's a perfect balance. There are a lot of funny moments in this show. Much more than any other drama, especially any drama show this serious.

It's a great show. But you need to watch it from beginning to end, but if you do that. God, this show is amazing. To me it's the best piece of drama ever.

I love how they do that. The day before the sale it was $120 and I believe the single seasons were around $30. They have a week or so delay on shipping and I was contemplating canceling my order only to see the full $180 price on the set and full $40 price on single seasons, making it that much harder to follow through with the cancellation.
