Hi all,

I'm getting my new TV this week: a Panasonic Viera TH-42PZ85U. I was wondering if there is any possible way to stream HD content to my new TV, via Xbox 360 or whatever. Any help would be much appreciated!

Actually, from all the experience I've had, you can't. That's the problem. I haven't bothered loging into WMP in sometime (summer 07', probably), but unless they updated it I don't think you can play HD .avi or .mkv. I hear you can play HD WMV but that doesn't mean much to me since I've never come across that file. Maybe you know something I don't, so please explain further if I'm wrong on this. Thanks, anyway!

A thread I had a little while ago when they switched to .mp4. I would suggest just getting the Zune software and doing that way. If you are using Vista it can be a little bit harder and you might have to do the reg edit to stream the HD version.

Yes, I rip and stream DVD's and BlueRays @ 1080p to my Xbox360s to play in ANY room of the house that has a 360 and ethernet . I'm working on HD-DVD's, I've had trouble getting studder free video from those.
