Hey all,
I'm currently using iTunes to subscribe to a number of Revision3 shows like Diggnation and iFanboy, amongst others. However within the last week/10 days they have stopped downloading. iTunes recognizes there is a new episode to download but sits at "0kb downloaded" and moves no further.
This does not happen with the other, non-Revision3 podcasts that I am subscribed to. I have tried deleting and re-adding them through iTunes as well as through manual RSS feeds and have had no luck. Any ideas what could be going on here?
Thanks for your help.

From a web browser, please test this two links:
1. Redirect Link (http://www.podtrac.com/pts/redirect.mp3/bitcast-a.bitgravity.com/revision3/web/diggnation/0187/diggnation--0187--2009-01-28backinsf--large.lame.mp3)
2. Direct Bitgravity Link (http://bitcast-a.bitgravity.com/revision3/web/diggnation/0187/diggnation--0187--2009-01-28backinsf--large.lame.mp3)
Does #1 work?
Doest #2 work?
Please also provide a traceroute to bitcast-a.bitgravity.com
What OS are you using?
What version of iTunes are you using?

Hey there chuckles, thanks for the help. As for your questions:
- Yes, both of those mp3 files open and run fine when I open them in a web browser
- I am running iTunes 8.0.2 on Mac OSX 10.5.6
- This is the result of the traceroute:

I wrote this note and then saw that this was already posted so here is my problem
My iPhone will not upload the Tekzilla Podcasts. Specifically Tekzilla (HD Quicktime) subscribed through iTunes.
I have a 16MB 3G iPhone and use iTunes 8.0.2.20 and iPhone 2.2.1 to manage my Podcasts, HP tx2000 Notebook w/3 GB Ram, 250 GB Hard Drive Windows Vista 32 bit SP1. I have a broadband connection over Comcast but have this problem no matter whose broadband I use (I have tried many including public hot-spots). I use Norton 360 Premier and it is up-to-date. I usually use IE for browsing but also have Safari and FireFox that I use on occasion.
I subscribe to many podcasts (about 34) listening to a wide variety, both audio and video. All of my podcasts download fine into iTunes, however, all the Tekzilla ones and some others (occasionally a NASAcast and a TMPtv) won't download to my iPhone. The error message I get is:
Some of the videos in your iTines library, including the video "Tekzilla Daily Tip - iPhone:How to takeScreen Grabs" was not copied because the video format is not supported by the iPhone.
I have tried the following:
Completely clearing all my podcasts and re-subscribing.
Manually syncing
Changing the sync setting from download new to download unplayed, to download all
I have converted the podcasts into iPhone versions
Nothing seems to work.
Here is my Tracert to bitcast-a.bitgravity.com.

What version of the podcasts are you subscribing to? HD H.264? Large H.264? Small H.264? Could you download them directly from the episode pages?

These are two separate issues. The problem the original poster has is that the shows will not download onto his computer. The problem you're describing is that they will not sync to your iPhone. Could you try the Tekzilla large H.264 feed to see if that works for you?

The issue seems to have solved itself. I have not changed any settings at all, but Revision3 podcasts have been downloading fine through iTunes since this morning. Many thanks for your help, Chuckles.
For future reference, I was subscribed to the Large Quicktime feed.

I went back to the Revision3 website, and subscribed to Tekzilla again, this time it offered the Large Quicktime format. I subscribed to that one and it works! When I first subscribed, that was not an option.
I don't know if you did anything but Thanks!
I am curious to understand why the HD Quicktime didn't work. After all I susbscribed through iTunes.
Thanks again!

The HD podcast for tekzilla does not show the 2/05 full show either in my downloaded podcasts or the store page for the podcast. Can you please fix this?

Has anything changed in your Winamp configurations? Can you test the feeds on another client (perhaps iTunes) to see if you can reproduce it on something else other than Winamp?

I can't seem to get any of the Rev3 HD podcasts to sync with my new iPhone 3G. Is it just a limitation of the iPhone movie player or am I doing something wrong?
Podcasts affected seem to be Diggnation, Tekzilla, Systm...and also a few non Rev3 podcasts as well (GeekBrief and commandN come to mind). They all seem to be similarly encoded H.264 high-bitrate vids. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Howdy,
Please use the large.h264 feeds instead. Those should work much better for you.
