You can get brian's book he tells you how to go about all parts of fire eating. I'm not sure where you can get a copy, but he should be able to tell you

Last I checked you can pick the book up at amazon. I'm considering shaving my beard so I can learn some fire eating.

I've got some friends that claim that you can just wet your beard and it should be fine while fire eating. (I wouldn't know however, as I seem to be incapable of growing a proper beard).

Part of me just would rather be safe than sorry, but I guess the hair doesn't really catch on fire that well, it just singes away and stinks.

unless you get unlucky and some of the fuel gets into the hair it could make for a very unhappy event
