Okay I have a bone to pick with you guys on your new video format.
Ever since you changed the way you present the video podcast....it freezes my computers! It doesnt matter what IE I have on any of the computers; it just freezes. It does it on my laptop, my home computer, heck even my library at my college freezes. I dont know how you can fix it but it's been like this for 2 months now....It's getting annoying.

I have also had a problem with the new vid setup as well. Only on IE though. What happens is when I go to ifanboy.com or any one of the vids on rev3 it temporarily freezes the window and says it is not responding. If I let it go it will come back with the vid loaded but it takes a long time and the page is useless until then. Doesnt freeze my whole PC though.

Are you guys having this issue with just IE? Or with all browsers i.e Firefox and Safari?

It's just....well just what optimus said above me. It freezes the computer for a good 2-3 mintues and then the page loads just fine. But no matter what page it is; whether it's main ifanboy page, podcast page, or the page with the video in general....it freezes the computer.
I cant honestly tell you what IE I have, probably the most basic one. I've had this laptop and home computer forever so it's probably either V.7 or V.8. But it's never had a problem with the videos since you seemed to have updated the format for the video itself. Plus it also does this weird thing where the mouse icon just blinks on and off....I feel stupid for not knowning the name of it, but the arrow thingy...yeah that just blinks for no reason.
Oh and it also does it on my AOL as well, which is on it's most recent update as well.

Check to see what version of the flash player you have (use this link (http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/)). If you do not have the latest one, update your flash player.

Updated flash player....still freezing the site/computer.
Sorry but it sounds like it's you guys and not me. Especially if it's doing it on every computer I go on (especially ones with new updates on flash)

Could you try Firefox on one of the computers and see if you have the same problem? Please also provide your computer specifications:
1. OS
2. CPU
3. RAM
Thanks.

If you don't want to test it with Firefox, could you please at least provide the following information:
OS: What version of Windows and what Service Pack
CPU: What CPU is in your computer along w/ clock speed
RAM: How much RAM do you have
VIDEO CARD: What video card you're using and what driver version.

I dont know any of that.
Seriously dude it's not only my laptop and it's not just fixing it with a new adobe flashplayer.
Every single computer I go on, freezes instantly once ifanboy appears. It's because of the new format or what ever you did to change the look of the videos. It's you, not me.

Not a particularly useful attitude really...
Six months ago, I developed a flash video site for a local non-profit group- a week after launch, suddenly reports came in, all sounded like "my browser is crashing, what did you change, change it back".
Nothing had changed- and no specifics of browser, flash version, what point it crashed or what else they were doing were supplied to help fix the problem- This majorly increases the time taken to fix the problem.
(In this specific instance, it was a specific IE version and a very specific flash build causing memory leak problems, when flash was used in a specific way... hardly a 'widespread' problem, and very difficult to QA)
Rev3 are just asking for this info to make that process as fast as possible- to track down a pattern and work out what the problem is. Rev3/Bitgravity won't have only made one tiny change to the system since, and can't go "oh, that's clearly it".. especially if they can't reproduce the problem you're having in the first place :(

Again I dont know anything on what you want to get out of me. I'm not a tech guy so I have no idea what you just posted.
Plus what's the point of giving you anything for just the laptop? I'll say it again, it's doing it on every computer I go on no matter if it's a home computer or laptop. So what do I have to give you this info for EVERY computer?
All I know is that once you changed the format of the video a couple of months ago this started to act up. So obviously if you went back to the old format for ifanboy it will work again....Dont see why that's so hard to do.
