I have a Toshiba m45-S269 laptop running winddows xp. One day it just started to reboot over and over. When windows xp gets up and running about 1 minute it reboots . Safe mode works ok. I reinstalled xp, changed hard drive same problem. If i go into device manager and disable the processor (red x). It works ok.I can't seem to firgure out whats going on. also if i disable the processor in device manager why does the laptop still work. What is beening disable?

If you disable the processor in the device manager, it probably doesn't do anything until you reboot. When you reboot, it re-detects and re-enables the processor.
Here's how to disable the automatic reboots so you can actually read the error message when the machine crashes:

There is a red x on the processor in device manager. The laptop is working ok except for the red x. If i enable it reboots over and over.Im using the laptop now with it disabled.
