I was just introduced to Scam School about 2 weeks ago. I have been catching up with the epsidoes and having a blast. Well I just got to put into practice something I learned recently! Since Brian is always asking for us to post our results on the forums, I figured I should post my first.

I went to go get takeout on my lunch break. The resturant offers this lunch special that gets you this big bag of chips, salsa, ect for like 2$ extra. It comes packaged in a brown bag that they pre-make before the lunch rush. I place my order with the lady and ask for the chips and salsa too. Turns out it is a busy day and they are out. Well I see one on the counter and inquire about it. The guy in front of me ordered it and he is waiting for them to bring out his food. We get to talking and he asks me if I like puzzle games and if I would be interested in solving the puzzle for it. If I could do it before the food came, I got the chips. Sure. Why not?

He busts out the 4 Quarters. As in Episode 2. Dude, I tried SOOOOOO hard not to break a smile and really try to focus on him explaining the rules. I goofed around for a while as he just sat and smiled. I almost gave it away, but tried really hard to make it look like I didn't know the answer. I just moved the quarters around until I saw them gathering his order up and then I made my "discovery". The guy was totally "WTF?"

Since I kinda had some help (Thanks Brian!), I offered him a chance to get them back as long as he could solve my puzzle before my food came. So I gave him the 2 pennies & 3 dimes game (just looked it up, episode 32). He couldn't figure it out. Before I left I wrote down the Scam School web link on a napkin and told him when he gives up that he can find the answer here (couldn't remember the ep at the time so he just got the front page).

I got my chips and hopefully Scam School gets another viewer out of it!

Thanks Brian!

PS: If you are the guy, those chips were delicious!

[EDIT] I know he wasn't really tring to scam me, but it was a fun title. :-D

This is my favorite viewer story yet. You played it well, and the fact that HE instigated it makes it even more hilarious.

And welcome to the forums, don't be a stranger. Great first post!
