Hope someone can help, have looked everywhere for help with my problem.
I can no longer play my video files in iTunes. Sound is ok but the picture is just a white screen. The saved artwork just turns to white when I click on a video file, & stays that way.
However, a video file that I have saved in the 'TV Shows' tab plays fine, it's just the video files that I have saved in the 'Movies' tab.
Bizarre.
Also, when I transfer the files to iPod there is no problem, so it's just iTunes.
Please help!! Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If you would be so kind as to play your videos in quicktime and tell me if the video works there.

Thanks for your reply.

Perhaps you need to update your iTunes and/or your Quicktime?
This has happened to me and the updated software fixed the problem.
I figured it was a bad codec or something.

Yeah try that because the IPOD firmware is up to date. Or at least it should be.

I consider that a good suggestion except I'd wait a while on doing so. At least until Apple decides to fix some more bugs in that completely infested iTunes 7. I've read where they came out with some fixes, but haven't gotten them all yet...

Thanks for all your suggestions.
I already have the latest iTunes & quicktime & it was working fine up untill the other day.
I thought it was a codec problem, but a converted video file that I saved in the 'TV shows' tab instead of the 'Movies' tab works fine, which has really confused me.
(Also, anyone know why video's saved under 'TV shows' tab do not come up on the iPod?)
In quicktime, there is no sound either. The file acts as though it's playing but there is no video or sound.

Still have problem, can't think of anything else to try. The files play fine in VLC & WMP. I could uninstall iTunes but I'll lose my music/video.
Any more suggestions?

Quicktime 7 iTunes are now working fine!!! Not sure what the problem was.
I did a clean up with Registry Mechanic & Tune Up Utilities.
I also uninstalled Spyware Doctor & ATI Catalist Control Centre but I'm not sure when the problem stopped.

Can any one tell me why there is an option to save video files under the 'TV Shows' tab, but there is no TV Shows menu on the iPod so I cannot watch them on my iPod
