so i was looking at my processes and found smss.exe
so i searched it and got this http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/smss/
it says its a windows app or w/e. but it says its a registered trojan, but then also says it should be disabled ...... any clue on what to do.

it's built in to Windows (it comes up when you do Ctrl+Alt+Delete even right after a clean install) so it's safe to assume it's safe

Basically the "it's a known trojan" part means that some trojans have been known to attach themselves to the process. It's a good way to screw people over, just have your trojan attach to a necessary system process and suddenly it's tons harder to remove.
If you are worried about it, just get a torjan scanner. As there is no way to know if your process has been hijacked without scanning for it, but that's assuming there is weird shit going on with your computer.
