Diggnation Live @ Austin

Luckily I live about 5 minutes from Stubbs, but Diggnation isn't listed on their website. Is it free admission, or do you need tickets, or a SxSW wristband, or what?

The moment I heard of the live Diggnation in Austin the weekend of my spring break, I immediately altered all plans so I could attend. I live in the Dallas area, but I'm planning on driving to Houston to pick up my girlfriend and THEN driving to Austin so we can see the live show together.

I would appreciate further clarification on the live show (tickets needed, proof of SXSW attendance, cover charge, etc.) I know it's open to all age groups, and that there's apparently plenty of space (enough for 1.5k people or so). Hoping there will be more details in next week's show and looking forward to finally seeing Alex and Kevin live!

I live in Austin and I'm genuinely concerned about needing to purchase a SXSW ticket just to see the one show I'd like to go to. I'm going to call the venue tomorrow to see if you need to purchase a whole day of SXSW access or if the venue will allow single admission. Stubb's is a pretty cool place so I'm hoping that's the case.

I called Stubb's just a moment ago. The man indicated to me that if the date March 14th is correct that attendee's will not be required to purchase anything for SXSW access and tickets will be independent for that.

However, he did say that according to their booking company, nothing was booked for March 14th. So I think we should just keep an eye peeled during the next episode.

I've got another recommendation for some after-the-show beerage, in case anyone is interested. The Gingerman (http://austin.gingermanpub.com) is a really great, celtic-feeling pub that's a fairly easy walk from Stubbs. Just passing the word along, as it is easily in my top 5 favorite Austin hang-outs.
