Video Conversion

hey guys...

i just want to know if there are any good free video converting programs [convert .avi to .m4v (or w/e the file type that plays in itunes is)]...

i have tried a few but they all leave that annoying watermark in the center of my screen, and if not... what is a good one to purchase, i was looking at avs media, but i will admit i really didn't do much research into the subject...

I think VLC can do any converting you like if you can figure out the command line options.
