One thing I've noticed they never talk about on the show, is comments on the digg stories. The comments, most times, can get hilarious and I thought maybe they should mention things people say. Not every story but it would be cool I think. What do you guys think?

Dude, i totally agree.

There are SEVERAL times when the comments are mush more entertaining than the actual article.

Very much agreed. Sometimes I click a story title because it sounds interesting but never get around to reading it because I get caught up in the comments. Then I digg the story anyway so I can come back to it.

I remember a little while back there was a couple episodes where they mentioned some of the hilarious comments. But I haven't heard anything about it since.

Someone should make a "digg comments-nation" show or something. Instead of stories, pick things to talk about based on comments.

9% of the time the comments are more interesting than the story.

I think you mean 90%. :)

I think you mean 90%. :)Although some of the Digg comments are better than the stories themselves, commenting on the comments (a meta comment?) sometimes falls flat (Digg Reel can be hit and miss like that).

They do occasionally pay homage to comment on a story. But, I think the people should grasp in inescapable truth that Kevin and Alex would rather render their own opinions and comments on a topic instead of regurgitating comments already posted to digg, no matter how entertaining or insightful those comments might be.

Nope, but closer to what I meant, 99%. :) I am not on my own computer. I think I have to hit the keys harder on this one than on mine.

Yea i feel what your saying there, and by no means would I want them to stop giving their own opinions. Thats why I think, in moderation, it could help some of the "slower" shows. On the other hand, I think if they did do it every story it would get old on me, real quick. And the "slower", usually shorter, episodes could benefit from one extra topic starter on a story or two... otherwise it just seem like too much work for one of them to fly between SFO and LAX just to do a 30 min show then return.

Isn't that what the Digg Reel is for?

The Digg Reel focuses on only videos though... Diggnation covers all stories. (I believe, I've only checked out Digg Reel a couple times, so I could be wrong) Remember Digg Reel is a spin-off of Diggnation, not the other way around.

But I feel the show is more about Kevin and Alex's opinions more than anything.

Maybe if they read like one really good comment a show or something, I wouldn't want it to ruin the show.

There's probably WAY to many comments to read through or just talk about. I think Kevin and Alex would rather talk about their opinion or personal experience with the story.
