That was fun as usual. Have to try one of those I have NO idea what Lavender "tastes" like.

The smell bothers me. I get like an instant headache... so I can imagine I won't like the taste but I could be wrong.

Fun show nonetheless.

The smell bothers me. I get like an instant headache... so I can imagine I won't like the taste but I could be wrong.I am the same. Lavender based perfumes bring on instant migraine ... to the point I had to leave Blockbuster the other night because someone was walking around that must have bathed in the stuff.

Zach/Dana, if you are going herbal, can I suggest mint, basil, or lemongrass?

Funny you mention it, Dry Soda actually carries a lemongrass flavor. Must try.

Funny you mention it, Dry Soda actually carries a lemongrass flavor. Must try.I've had a lemongrass/ginger ale combination at a thai restaurant (no longer open :( ) before ... it was subtle and very soothing with spicy thai curry.

Funny enough I've actually been to a lavender festival where I tried a number of lavender infused items with mixed results. I'm personally not a huge fan of lavender, but in lemonade it can be really good when you don't add too much. I also had a really good white chocolate lavender ice cream that was shockingly good. I have a small bag of lavender as well that I've been meaning to do something with. Maybe I'll give it a shot. I hope it's still good.

It's a yearly festival held in mid July in Sequim, Washington. Basically, a bunch of lavender farms open up their gates and you can walk around while people set up merch booths and some live entertainment. It's not exactly the most thrilling event, but there is definitely some pretty scenery(great photo opportunity) and cool food/drink things. A lot of the places sell edible lavender in bulk as well as lemonade and whatever they can come up with. Here's the website for anyone interested in it: http://www.lavenderfestival.com/
