Saw the opening episode at the panel. I enjoyed it since
A) Zoe Bell
B) The Brubaker Touch
C) Zoe Bell
D) Pretty brutal action that deserves to be in more than just a web browser

What do you guys think (Premiere is March 2nd)?

This was, honestly, much better quality than I expected, just in terms of film making. And Zoe Bell lives up to the hype, she's a real joy to watch.

I'm not sure if I'll follow the whole thing online, as my computer is on its last legs and hates playing video (I haven't even gotten through the ifanboy NYCC shows for that reason :-/) but I definitely encourage Brubaker fans, or anybody who is just curious, to check this out. If nothing else, it sent me back to reread "Sleeper".

I hate streaming. I tried to watch this and it froze every few seconds so I only made it about a minute in. All internet video should be available as a podcast.

Or, y'know, ISP's could start giving the bandwidth they claim to, but let's be realistic here.

Wow, this sucks. The film making on this sucks, it's soooo damn cheesy and ridiculous. I am surprised brubaker is no ashamed of this.

I am a HUGE brubaker fan, or of his comics at least, and this is just so disappointing. I think brubaker really thinks this is a good first episode, and that deeply saddens me. It really seems like he is just writing a comic book and putting it exactly to screen, which almost never works. There is no character development AT ALL either which sucks... sigh...

I am so disappointed. I HOPE the next episode is better than this.

Well at the panel I was at, him and Zoe watched it for the first time (it was the cutest thing watching them run to their seats together, their chemistry is so perfect) he did make a comment that he wished there was more dialogue. But the thing is, the cheesy guitar style totally worked here. I see it kind of like a Joss Whedon thing where just because it has parts that seem counterintuitive to the purpose doesn't mean that they really are.
And when I was at Wondercon with a good sound system and a big screen, it was much cooler so if you can try to run the HD version. It's also planned for DVD and I suppose with enough interest Blu-ray. The kid getting shot and knife in the head were total shockers for me. It felt pretty light before that (cheesy guitar) and then wham!

From what I understand, the knife in the head is actually the point, and the catalyst for what happens after that. Also, it's based on real injuries and their actual effects - at least as a jumping-off point.

Yeah, that was posted practically right as it happened. I continued to the second ep and am looking forward to more :P Definitely cool

After watching the first three episodes, I think it's a fun, bloody romp in the vein of Tartantino's movies.

The "Meet Eve" bio is Brubaker writing prose. It's good, really good.

Actually Zoe Bell wrote that (I remember them talking about it). Those two are like glue.

I love the gradual change in Zoe's character (which is amazing considering they're doing it in such a short runtime). And the twists and turns all look like they're leading to a total clusterfuck of final episodes.
